UK luxury automaker Aston Martin is to set to recruit over 400 technicians across its manufacturing sites in Gaydon, Warwickshire and St Athan, South Wales.

It will support the production of its next generation of sports cars and the DBX707 luxury SUV.
The automaker cited the launch of the new Vantage and DB12, coupled with the introduction of further new models in 2024 and continued demand for the DBX707, for the need to increase its workforce.
Simon Smith, Chief People Officer of Aston Martin said: “We are delighted to be able to increase our manufacturing team across both our facilities in Gaydon and St Athan, creating further employment opportunities for our local communities.”
Last year, US start-up Lucid announced it had signed a definitive agreement with Aston Martin to help its electrification strategy, integrating Lucid powertrain technology and battery systems in contracts worth ‘in excess’ of $450m.
